Congrats on getting started on your second Bingo card. I hope you enjoy planning it out -- I find that part really fun!I'm fond of Northanger Abbey too. Although not my favourite Jane Austen, I do think it's her funniest novel.

I absolutely loved Northanger Abbey! It is my favorite Austen so far, with only Persuasion left to go.
“Classic from your bookshelf”Me, looking at my 3 overflowing bookshelves and other books stacked up on the floor and in the closet…
Yeah, I think I have this one covered.
We can all understand. Me, I have all the books sitting here right now that I could use for that square but no, I bought a new one that will be on my shelf in a matter of days!🤷🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️

I wish I still could read as many books as you, Paula. I have all the time, but my appetite for reading is not as boundless. This second challenge is an insane one, if I may say so.
WooHoo! I have no doubt you can, and will, do it. And, I can so relate, Lori. I promise myself I won't, but then I always do.
Paula, as I read more of the old gothic stories, Northanger Abbey does climb in my estimation. A good parody, one of the better ones. . . . .I am glad you think highly of it.

I do try to throw in something fun from time to time and that seems to help. Then I also go through periods when my gaze keeps wandering to my bookshelf, excited about what will be next when I finish what is in my hands. I have an insanely active imagination (always have) and books are a sort of therapy for me. They give me an outlet that isn’t in any way destructive except on my wallet.

Then I'm glad you chose books as a therapy. See you around.
I think I might be able to finish this in June, or July at the latest. I am currently reading part 2 of Maya Angelou’s autobiography for I2. I am also reading The Agony and the Ecstasy, which will fit into B4. Unfortunately, my beagle ate my book so I am waiting for a replacement.
B3 will be Madame Bovary
The rest will be a breeze because I downloaded some kindle books when they were $1.99
Wobbley wrote: "Wow! Do you think you'll do a third BINGO when you're done this one?"Probably not. I’ll keep reading and see if anything I read fits into a square, but I dont intend to strategically plan anything.
Sara wrote: "Really on a roll, Paula! Had to laugh that your dog is still eating your homework."He’s a menace. Cute as a button, but a complete menace.
Your second BINGO board already, Paula? And you're almost done! I need to catch up on your 1st one and get around to filling mine own in.
Sue wrote: "Your second BINGO board already, Paula? And you're almost done! Things have slowed down for me (only a handful of books read last month and so far this month).
Whew! All done with the bingo for this year. I enjoyed the challenges and am proud to have completed 2 blackouts. Now, I plan to read for pleasure and hopefully get in some new releases I have missed. But I still plan to keep reading classics with the group this year when I see something I want to read. Happy reading, everyone!
Unbelievable! Two bingos completed before the end of June -- just outstanding! And it looks like they were mostly winners. I, too, am a big fan of The Wind in the WIllows, Northanger Abbey, Treasure Island, Persuasion, and The Velveteen Rabbit. Well done indeed!
