I absolutely loved Northanger Abbey! It is my favorite Austen so far, with only Persuasion left to go.

WooHoo! I have no doubt you can, and will, do it. And, I can so relate, Lori. I promise myself I won't, but then I always do.


I go through periods when I dont want to read at all, especially if I finish several tough books in a row. I do try to throw in something fun from time to time and that seems to help. Then I also go through periods when my gaze keeps wandering to my bookshelf, excited about what will be next when I finish what is in my hands. I have an insanely active imagination (always have) and books are a sort of therapy for me. They give me an outlet that isn’t in any way destructive except on my wallet.

I am currently reading part 2 of Maya Angelou’s autobiography for I2. I am also reading The Agony and the Ecstasy, which will fit into B4. Unfortunately, my beagle ate my book so I am waiting for a replacement.
B3 will be Madame Bovary
The rest will be a breeze because I downloaded some kindle books when they were $1.99

Probably not. I’ll keep reading and see if anything I read fits into a square, but I dont intend to strategically plan anything.

He’s a menace. Cute as a button, but a complete menace.


Yeah, almost all my books so far this year have been classics that for into one of these categories. Things have slowed down for me (only a handful of books read last month and so far this month).
