should i watch shadow and bone or read six of crows first?

i feel like i'll understand six of crows better if i watch the show first... i have had a lot of trouble getting into six of crows but i do really want to read it.

tbh watch it first bc if you read it first the show might be a bit disappointing, it doesn’t quite live up to the books (especially six of crows) but still enjoyable imo

watch the show first, because it's good, but the books are better, and reading them first would raise your expectations of the show
