This book was very great. I loved the way it talked about magic and mystery.

Too long.
Too many scenes that didn't contribute to the overall plot.
Better books tell background information about characters while moving the plot along. This needed to be cut down by 300 pages.

After my first time reading through the series I ranked it as my one of my least favorite, right above CoS. I hated Umbridge and the Grawp bits and I also disliked Harry being so snarky all of the time but upon later readings it became my favorite in the series closely followed by DH.
