Sheema (dreamthiefs) | 28 comments And this section is for the writing. Was it hard or easy to get through? was it aesthetic? lyrical? different? or was it like any other book you've read? discuss!

Skylar (holyhades) | 10 comments The writing is pretty good, but I'm not really used to first person present tense. Most authors write first/third person past tense, but it isn't the first time I've read a book with this perspective.

Caitlin Fields (bookswinebiblio) | 8 comments I felt like the writing was very easy to follow, I have a hard time reading books with too much detail, it annoys me (fifty shades for example) but this book was very easy to read and very, very hard to put down lol

dee ♡ (valkyreads) I thought Victoria Aveyard's writing was GREAT! It was easy to follow and hard to put down!

Roisin (thesimplemoment) I was really impressed with the writing. I found myself not wanting to put the book down. Victoria really knew her characters and their voices/attitude. I am looking forward to her other books.

Shannon (therivershannon) | 2 comments I have been in a bit of a reading slump lately, and something about this world really interested me and was able to pull me out of it! The writing allowed me to form a great connection to the world and the characters within it.

court ౨ৎ librarycutie (librarycutie) I'm not one to really look at the writing, unless it's completely different from what I normally read. I give Victoria Aveyard a thumbs up for the writing.
