James K. | 8 comments I was the poster child for a middle-school boy who struggled mightily with reading, so I figured who better to write a book for such a reluctant reader than I.

My 𝘋𝘰𝘨 𝘚𝘵𝘢𝘳 𝘕𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 story has been published for nearly a year now, so I've developed a good sense of my readership. My most affirming feedback has come from avid reading 5th/6th grade girls and... wait for it... 60-, 70- and 80-year-old men! There can be no other explanation than these are the two most sagacious groups of readers. Nevertheless, I wrote Dog Star Night middle schoolers who resist reading. The story is dynamic and engaging and in every way a real book. Perhaps the right book to spark an interest in reading in your reluctant reader. The ebook is 𝐅𝐑𝐄𝐄 for the next few days on Amazon, so give it a try.

Have fun! And leave a review if the story leaves you with a smile.
