David Raz (davidraz) | 12958 comments These are three different editions and they need to be combined, not merged (=deleted).
I combined the editions. For future reference, this does not require a superlibrarian, please read before posting.

David Raz (davidraz) | 12958 comments While I'm at it, I noticed your older books which are under this series are very similar to the ones under this series. Specifically, the two first books seem very similar. Does this similarity continued? How do the books from these two series relate to each other?

Patrick G Cox (patrickgcox) | 3 comments Actually I wish there was some way to remove the older series completely. They do relate, but the new series is the result of being taken on by a publisher who, figuratively, ripped them apart and demanded a complete rewrite of them all. I did manage to get all of the original versions withdrawn from publication, but can't now seem to get them removed from Amazon's lists ...

If you can get them removed I would appreciate it.

I confess that I struggle to navigate this site and used to leave it all to my publisher (now closed, a victim of covid and business challenges) so am battling to get to grips with this, marketing and writing! For one thing I always struggle to find where MY books are hiding when I log in.

David Raz (davidraz) | 12958 comments Goodreads has a strict policy against deleting books from the database. Goodreads strives to be a complete database of all published works, including out-of-print works. We like our members to be able to add the exact edition of their books to their virtual shelves.

Your publisher made a gross violation of GR policies in 2018, removing the data of all your older publications. Unfortunately, this was not caught on time, and we are now struggling to restore the data deleted. As a reader, I would appreciate knowing that a previous edition existed, even after a complete rewrite. Reading the blurbs, it is evident that the books are related. I accept your position that you see them as entirely new works, so I would instead add comments to the series listing saying that the series was rewritten.

As for locating your books, here they are.

Patrick G Cox (patrickgcox) | 3 comments Many thanks, I appreciate your help in this. I'm still trying to deal with the publisher closing their doors. At least I now hold all the rights and titles, but I'm a complete 'babe in the woods' when it comes to promoting and dealing with sites like GoodReads. Live and learn as they say.
