Option 1
7. Sleep regenerates both the mind and body.
Read a book with an exposed human body on the cover.

Examples that work:
Perfect Imperfections by Cardeno C. Two Men and a Baby (Love & Luck, #5) by Isla Olsen Firecracker (Honeybridge, #1) by Lucy Lennox

Tremble (Significant Brothers, #6) by E. Davies (left cover model is extremely marginal as a yes)

Examples that don't work:
Learning Curve (Franklin U, #6) by N.R. Walker Dance Around (Assassin's Claws #5) by Susi Hawke Love Him Free (On the Market, #1) by E.M. Lindsey

Option 2
Key date: 21 October 2022
*Team mate read on or after this date and rated at least 3 stars

A selection post must be made for whichever option you choose - INCLUDING A PASS
Refer msg 3 for formatting of all 3 options. This format is also in msg 3 of your team threads.

Truitt_T | 805 comments Sorry to bother you with another question about a cover, Jane, but I wasn't sure if this would work:

Stealing the Wind (Mermen of Ea #1) by Shira Anthony

They're certainly humanoid....

Thanks!

As the task is a 'human body' I'm going to say no.

The first one is a bit 'weird' cos there isn't much of them and since the task is a human body - I'm saying no.

And yes to the second cover.

Jean | 869 comments What about this one

Hector (Outback Shifters #1) by Zoe Chant

I wasn’t going to ask since it seemed pretty straight forward but your answer above seemed to make me question whether a shifter would qualify even if they are wholly human on the cover.

Its the cover model I'm looking at, not what the book is about. So this unshifted cover model's body works :)

(Truitt's model would have been fine if it didn't have a tail ;)

The Aristocrat by Penelope Ward

But as I continue to see the cover, I am second guessing if it will work or not...

message 89: by Jane (PS), Moderator (new)

Jane (PS) | 24334 comments For anyone interested, it a no to tattoos or other likenesses, like paintings etc.

I am looking for the presence of a plant in the bookcover that is an actual plant - not a drawn likeness within the cover.

However drawn covers will work in this instance where the plant is an included feature of the landscape.

message 95: by Jane (PS), Moderator (last edited May 05, 2023 02:15PM) (new)

Jane (PS) | 24334 comments The MPG is the list of genres on the main page. Your selected book cannot have the genres of Horror, Thriller, Suspense, Mystery, Action or Adventure showing in this genre list.

This includes if you click on 'more' to expand out to a few more genres, but not when you click 'show all'.

Please ask here if you aren't sure.
