Seeking the Title and author of a Sci-Fi book, read in 2019 and maybe published in the two or three years prior, about a father / daughter relationship in which the father is a physicist at a small university in small town Florida. His experiment causes a time warp in which the town stands still in time while the outside world ages 30 or 40 years, except the residents of the town don't realize that this is happening. The father is also trapped within his experimental machine / time field and lost.

The small town boasts orange and grapefruit groves that become extinct in the outside world during the time warp.
