Thomas Kyritsis | 37 comments Hello,

this book: Dan Yack is wrongly merged with this: Confessions of Dan Yack

Dan Yack is the English version of Le Plan de l'aiguille (so Dan Yack #1) and Confessions of Dan Yack is the English version of Les confessions de Dan Yack (so Dan Yack #2, sequel of the first).

This mistake probably happened because in French the two books were also published in one combined volume in 1946, many years after the original publishing (1929), but this has nothing to do with the English versions.

Other issues:
- Dan Yack has 144 pages
- Confessions of Dan Yack has 128 pages

Thanks in advance.

Lieke | 4925 comments I separated the different editions and combined them with the right editions. For any page count request we need the ISBN/ASIN.
But both requests don't need a superlibrarian, next time please post questions like this in the Book Issues folder.

Thomas Kyritsis | 37 comments Thank you very much for your help.

The reason I posted it here was this guide https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
saying:

Requests that need a Superlibrarian:
* Merges of an edition that has been shelved 5 or more times

Emily | 17503 comments On Goodreads, "merge" refers to deleting one edition to be absorbed into its duplicate. We use "combine" to mean "uniting the records under one umbrella." :-)
