Suhyun sat on the couch. He didn't know why his brother didn't like him so much. Suhyun sighed and curled up, he brought his knees to his chest. "I don't even know" he placed his head in his lap. "He's so going to yell at me after this." Suhyun saw Maverick smack Kei and he laughed a little.

Their mom waved they off and mumbled something about wishing Kei was more like Maverick and that made him laugh. "You trying to ruin my vacation?" He asked Kei as he walked back towards their room to grab his boots and leather jacket. Kei just pouted as he finished getting ready to leave. Maverick peaked his head into the room that Suhyun was in. "Alright kid you better get ready fast or Kei might leave without you." Maverick didn't have a problem with Suhyun but he also never really talked to him either.
"I'm ready, already," he said. He stood up and followed them to the door. He didn't dislike Maverick or anything but he didn't know him all that much. All he knew was that they had been friends for a while now. "I don't know why he hates me," He said to Maverick. He just shrugged and put on his shoes. "Let's go before he gets mad"
Maverick shrugged at his words. "I don't think he hates you. He just...." He tried to find the right words. "Wants more independence? Your mom is just always forcing him to take you with." Maverick followed him out into the hallway at the same time Kei walked out. "Alright I sent for an Uber it should be here any second. Mom didn't want me driving the car because of what happened last time." Kei had almost gotten them into an accident the last time.
"Maybe, I don't know. It's not like I specifically want it." Suhyun sighed and followed a little bit behind them. "Yeah, I don't blame her," Suhyun said softly. Suhyun mumbled something to himself, he was obviously angry.
Kei rolled his eyes at Suhyun, ignoring him and heading towards the lobby of the hotel. "You guys better not be like this all night or im going to ditch the both of you." Maverick shoved his hands into his pockets and followed behind Kei.
Suhyun sighed and looked down. He had stayed quiet the whole time. "I don't get what I did wrong." Suhyun closed his eyes for a quick second and took a deep breath.
Maverick glance back at Suhyun to make sure he was following. He didn't have any siblings so he never understood the relationship that Kai and him had. Kai was the closest thing he had to a brother. They made down to the lobby just in time for their ride to show up. Kai took the front seat of the Uber and Maverick slid in so he was behind the driver. "Dude I still can't believe you found out where this secret show was at." It was only about a 15, minute drive to the venue.
Suhyun got into the car and sat there quietly. He looked at his brother in the rear view mirror. He sighed once more and then looked out the window. His silence was becoming scary.
Maverick and Kai talked about the show on the way there, not really paying attention to the fact that Suhyun wasn't being his normal self. Once they arrived they both hoped out and Kai ran up to the front to show the bouncer their tickets. Maverick opened up the door for Suhyun. "Coming? Ignore Kai and just try to at least enjoy yourself on your vacation." He suggested before joining Kai by the bouncer.
Suhyun got out of the car and slightly bowed. "Thank you" he bowed once more then followed them up there. He was trying to have fun and ignore Kai but he was his brother and it was hard. He always looked up to him.
Maverick raised an eyebrow at his bowing. Something he wasn't used to, but he knows it's something that they do in their country, so he didn't comment on it. Lucky enough this was and 18+ venue so they didn't have to worry about sneaking in Suhyun. They got their wristbands and headed inside. It was your typical club. There was bar off to the right and a bunch of tables in the area in front of it. Then there was the stage in the back and a huge dance floor in front of the stage. There was already a decent amount of people there. "I'm going to get us a spot closer up. Grab me a drink." Kai yelled to Maverick, and he gave him a nod. "You want anything?" He knew Suhyun wasn't of age to drink yet but he had his way with people so he could easily get him a drink.
Suhyun looked around. This wasn't somewhere he would ever go to on his own. He looked at Maverick and shook his head. "No, no. I'm alright thank you" With a slight bow to Maverick, he then went to sit with his brother. He sat there, not saying a word. He sort of seemed out of it. He usually wasn't like that but he was just tuning almost everything out.
"No problem." Maverick watched as Suhyun went to go sit down with Kai before he went up to the bar and bought two beers for himself and Kai. He gave the bartender a wink and few dollars as a tip before heading back over to the other two. He handed one of the drinks off to Kai before taking a swig of his own. "I heard they are playing their new song tonight!" He yelled over top of all the people talking. Before anyone could respond the band walked in stage and everyone began yelling and cheering.
Suhyun covered his ears. He thought it was a bit too loud in here. He didn't even know the band that they were watching but he was here anyways. Suhyun tried to stand the loudness as long as possible but it didn't take long for it to get to him. He stepped out for a minute and took a deep breath.
Mavericks attention was completely on the band. They were one of his favorites and he had waiting to see them live for so long. So he was unaware of Suhyun stepping out outside for a breather. Maverick was fully immersed into their music.
Suhyun shouldn't be out alone but the fact that none of them even noticed he was gone, kind of proved his point about Kai hating him. He wasn't really thinking about that right now. He was watching all the people that passed by.
After a couple songs were played Maverick went to go get himself another drink. When he headed back he noticed that Suhyun was no longer sitting there. When did the kid leave? "Hey, have you seen your brother?" He asked Kai over the music. "What?!" Kai yelled back, not even looking over at Maverick. He went to yell again but figured he wouldn't even hear him. He got closer to him. "Ill be right back." He yelled to Kai and kai just gave him a thumbs up before Maverick walked away to find Suhyun.
Suhyun walked around, not going too far since he didn't want to forget his way and get lost. He figured no one still noticed, which was fine by him. He wasn't going to worry too much. He wasn't watching where he was going and ran into someone.
Maverick chugged his second drink and tossed the bottle away before he began his search for Suhyun. He checked just about every corner inside the venue. The next place to check was going to be outside. As he was standing at the exit he heard hate band announce that they were playing a song that they have yet to release to the public. He grumbled about how he was going to miss it as he stepped outside. Finding Suhyun and making sure he was okay was more important than some song.
Suhyun bowed slightly to the man. "I-I'm sorry," he said, he was obviously scared and didn't know what to do. He knew Kai wouldn't hear his phone if he called or he'd ignore it. Suhyun looked up at this stranger, he was too scared to even move.
Maverick rubbed the back of his neck as he looked around out front, not seeing him there either. Where could this kid have gone so fast? He wouldn't have gone back to the hotel without say anything first would he have? Maverick went up to the bouncer and asked if he had seen him at all. He was relieved when he pointed him in the direction of Suhyun.
Suhyun finally slowly backed away. He didn't want trouble so he began to walk back the way he came. He hoped nothing happened. Suhyun walked as fast as he possibly could but he was too scared to walk any faster.
Maverick made his way in the direction he was pointed. He wasn't paying attention when he almost ran right into Suhyun. "There you are. Jeez, you can't just disappear like that." He glanced behind Suhyun to see an angry looking man walking towards him. Maverick raised an eyebrow and pushed Suhyun behind him. "You got a problem?" Maverick wasn't afraid to fight this guy if he had to.
Suhyun took a slight step back when he ran into Maverick. "Oh sorry...oh it's you," he said softly. Suhyun looked scared when Maverick pushed him behind him. He held onto Maverick's waist as he peeked from behind him.
"Yeah, and my problems with him." The older guy pointed to Suhyun. Maverick didn't move a muscle as the man got closer to them. His expression never shifted once. "You'll have to go through me first." Maverick raised an eyebrow at him. The man stepped closer before huffing and walking away from them, mumbling under his breath. Maverick waited until the man was gone from sight before he turned around to face Suhyun. "Are you okay?"
Suhyun took a step back. "Y-Y-Yeah...I'm alright" he said, his body shaking. "C-Can we just go back?" He held onto Maverick's arm tightly. He's never experienced something that traumatizing before.
"Back to the concert or back to the hotel?" Maverick figured he probably wanted to go back to the hotel since the crowd at the venue was probably what made him leave in the first place. If the kid didn't like crowded places he should have just said so. Either way they head back to the venue so they could grab Kai, so he began his walk back, not minding Suhyuns grip on his arm.
"Back to the hotel" he said sounding scared still. Suhyun had a feeling that Kai was going to be mad at him for this but he was seriously scared. Suhyun's grip on Maverick's arm tightened.
((just wanted to give you a heads up. I work a lot this weekend so I probably won't reply until Sunday))
((okay Im finally back to normal schedule!!))"Lets grab Kai first and then we can head back." Maverick lead them back to the venue. "You want to stay here while i run in really quick." If Suhyun just stayed by the bouncer nothing bad would happen.
"Alright...just don't take too long." Suhyun followed close by. "Yes, just...hurry back." Suhyun stood next to him and looked up at him. Scary he thought then looked away.
((sorry my roommate moved out earlier then me and she took the wifi with her. I'll reply at some point today!))
((ah sorry. I just got wifi back today *cries*))Maverick pushed his way through the crowd, finding Kai in the same place that he had left him. He told Kai that his stomach was feel gross and that they should head back. He would much rather Kai be angry with him than with Suhyun. Kai reluctantly agreed when Maverick faked feeling like he was going to be sick. They made their way back out to where Suhyun was.
