Yay! My roll of 5-5 takes me to space 102, I have finished the Clerk Level. I'm off to read about what to do next. I do have a new list prepared. I must admit I read some books I hadn't planned to and mostly enjoyed them a lot. (Duh, I'm the one who originally bought them, so you'd hope that would be the case!)**Just read a few of the rules threads and I'm still unclear if I need to read the book that would be space 102 if I continued, or if I am done, since there aren't 10 more spaces left? Do I start the Porter round with space 1 in any case? I'm sure this is covered somewhere but I haven' found it yet.
Congratulations Robin! I believe you just roll off the board so you don't need to read anything until you request a roll for your new Porter gameboard.
Toot Toot! Welcome to Locomotive, Robin, where you drive thr train celebrating your win and prep for your Porter Board! No reading until you have posted your new board at Porter tracking and rolled for your first book. The Caboose Cabana Boys are tidying up and resupplying the Caboose, hanging the Welcome Back banner, and flexing!
I just realized I landed on 15 Today! We went to a show tonight and I didn’t look for my new book until I got home.

Wowzer. Thanks Anita!
My #72 book is narrated by Colin Firth. 😋
Oh, dear. Shake it up Sunday is not my friend! I do have a question. This will put me back to #7 which I read last week for the last shake it up Sunday. Will I need to use a trade for this?
Ellen wrote: "Oh, dear. Shake it up Sunday is not my friend! I do have a question. This will put me back to #7 which I read last week for the last shake it up Sunday. Will I need to use a trade for this?"Pretty sure you can read the one before, or after #7 Ellen, but you stay at your position on #7. Just note on your list which book you are reading-Let Anita confirm, but I am almost sure this is the answer
I am trudging along towards a roll. Have finished my extra book from Booknblues shelf, and I am 15% towards number 58’s book where Joy had moved me. I am indeed coming along. Joanne, I am indeed liking this so far. I think of you with every word, because I remember how strongly you have recommended it, and particularly for me.
Congratulations Robin! My next book just arrived at the library on inter-library loan. I'm going to be in the baggage car for awhile still :-)

I went out for a quick bite with Scott last night, and we went to stop at the container store to get a small item, and he went to get the car, and I found myself in front of hummingbird books! And I slipped right in, and with not enough time to do any serious damage, I immediately, found a copy of Ms. Demeanor, newly in paperback. I bought it alongside a paperback copy of codename sapphire. All shall be well very soon.
It's the middle of the night on the Subdue Express and I've quietly left the Baggage Car behind having finally finished my obligatory 2nd book for #34 (from BnB's Clerk Board - #15 - 5 star read thank you!). Sigh, how lovely it is to see the Art Deco decor in the Second Class Lounge, and slip into the lovely padded seating, having a firefighter meeting me with drinks and snacks. I think I'll catch a few zzzz, then finish a couple other reads before starting my next book. I confirmed as I settled in that various classic teas will be served daily this next week here in Second Class, not just British but also Japanese, and I think I spotted a samovar on the bar....
