as coho's #1 hater- i don't think it's as bad as her other book, but it does reinforce stereotypes about drug users, child abuse, and poverty.

i kinda liked it. i don’t enjoy her books as much as i did anymore, but i think heart bones is better than the others (it ends with us, november 9 etc..)
