Political / Espionage Thriller

Features deadly and reclusive werewolf
Gifted 5 blind dates by some anonymous and concerned friends.
Good vs. Evil
Some humor
Great characterization
Compelling storyline
Plenty of action and violence
My least favorite was date two which is written as the aftermath and cleanup of the date rather than the action date.
Five stories (2 newly published) and an Epilogue combined into a novelization.

PattyMacDotComma | 1260 comments An odd, very short read is the story Aghwee The Sky Monster by Japanese writer Kenzaburō Ōe. His bio on GR says in 1994, he won the Nobel Prize in Literature for creating "an imagined world, where life and myth condense to form a disconcerting picture of the human predicament today."

Of course I read the English translation, but I assume it is every bit as intriguing and quirky in Japanese.
Aghwee The Sky Monster by Kenzaburō Ōe My review of Aghwee The Sky Monster

I've added a link to an English translation of the story where you can read or download it.
