I finished The Teacher by Freida McFadden and found it to be a masterpiece of illusions with unreliable characters and scandalous twists. 4.5 Stars My Review.

McFadden's books should come with a highly addictive warning label in neon colors on the front cover. She's becoming the Queen of last second, last page shockers that no one sees coming.

I'm glad I chose a dozen of Michael Connelly's Bosch series to read through 2024 because it means I'm assured of at least one good read a month.

Nobody missed The Concrete Blonde, an obviously interchangeable porn performer, until her body is discovered, which could ruin Bosch's career.
