Astri pulled him into the class and sat down,"yayy" she smiled
Fechin looked down at his hands, nervous to show her what he could do. "Yay," He smiled weakly, looking up at the teacher with despair in his eyes. Don't make me do this. He wanted to say. Don't make me show her what I can do.
Astri let her hands out where an egg formed its galaxy color vivid
"You next sir" The teacher turned towards Fechin
"Fuck." He swore under his breath. Fechin's powers were easy to control, he'd had this class for years, and yet he was nervous. He stood, sweeping back with stark white hair and put on a confident smile. "For anyone new in this class, I can shapeshift, read minds and.." He paused, letting shadows grow around him, darkening the classroom. "And control shadows." His voice seemed to grow and multiply as the room got darker. Within moments it with pitch as night and you couldn't see your hands if you held them up to your face.
A mental voice swept over those in the classroom, seemingly from everywhere. I am Fechin, no more human than the air itself. He felt more and more confident, that primal state of mind replacing his human-made one. The shadows dissipated instantly. Instead of a human where he stood, a black creature wavered back and forth. It's existence was hardly there, and he had a fake feel to him, as though he could fade away at any moment. And yet.. And yet his existence was still more tangible than any living being. He wasn't, and he was.

This form was most natural to him. Not born of darkness, no, but born of his inability to have a form to return to. He had Fechin's "body," yes, but it wasn't him, not truly. He seemed to have an infinite amount of sides, able to see everything around him. I am the oxymoron. Despite doing this nearly every class, he still felt the awe of his classmates, the fear. it sent shivers down this form, this mind, and it pleased him. Slowly the shadowy apparition solidified, revealing a flushed and anxious Fechin.

Astri fell back in her seat realizing what she thought and knowing he could hear it
Fechin flashed her a goofy smile. "It's alright." He said, eyes still pooled with darkness. "I'll stay out of your mind as best I can."
And I'll make sure he does!
Belle piped up, talking to both Astri and Fechin.
"ahhhhhh" Astri blushed hard her face turning a vibrant red

Melinoe summoned her deer, Anna, which then turned into a monster and Melinoe's eyes became dark she was having a vision
Fechin looked down at his hands then back up at the teacher. A small wavering shadow flickered in front of him. It darkened and firmed until a small formless creature sat on his desk. It had wide white eyes that took in everything around it. This is new.. He murmured to Belle. I've never summoned a being with my magic.
Fechin reached out to touch it. The thing shifted and moved, leaning towards his hand. He could feel a conscience within it but it was so distant and dim he couldn't communicate with it. "Hello." He whispered, running his hand over it's solid-liquid body. A bright spark filled his mind, and its thoughts touched his. Hello!

"You alright?" Astri smiled at him,she was still red from the current incident,im such an idiot,she thought sighing
Fechin hummed a response, too absolved by the little creature to respond fully.

The creature, no, Skia, commented. He almost knew by instinct the little being's name. I'm sorry. I never knew I could. He gave the non-being being a scratch beneath the chin, smiling as it began to vibrate. Skia, how long have you been waiting? A sense of years flashed through Fechin's mind, waiting, patience, longing. He looked down, ashamed. I'm sorry.
"Its so cute" Astri looked at the little creature by Fechin,"have you named her?" Astri smiled and petted Deerlings head

"It already has a name," He corrected, glancing at Astri with a smile. "It's name is Skia." Fechin jerked his head around to look at Melinoe, his eyebrows pinching. He felt towards his mind, curious as to what she meant. Belle? Fechin called, wanting the cockatrice's reassurance. Yes? Do you feel anything? A curiosity radiated off her. She was obviously not listening. No.. why? The girl, Melinoe I think, said the school is in danger.
"Im concerned bit,danger" Astri held her arm thinking about how devastated her mother would be if she died

Fechin glanced over at Astri. He didn't need to read her mind to know she was worried. He gave her a soft smile, his green eyes now glittering.
Astri smiled back and hugged Deerling,"Im kind of scared" she admitted
"I dont want to die quite yet" She smiled softly

"We don't know if we're going to die, silly." His green eyes were oddly blank as he looked at Astri, though his pupils were dilated. "But it's okay to be scared of the unknown, it's a natural human function."

He flinched and gave Astri a wounded smile. "Yes, easy for me to say." Fechin sighed and rubbed his face. "We have Mr. Morpheus next." He groaned. He didn't like the old vampire, he was mean.

"Wonderful!" He grabbed Astri's hand and dragged her from the classroom, Belle chasing after. As they ran towards the entrance of the school, he begin shifting into something silver, then white, wings and horns beginning to sprout from his body.
