Bad

This book is so bad I could cry, boring plot, boring characters, it's barely holding my attention. Cannot believe this author writes and makes money at it. I don't read a lot do duds, but this book club selection, not made by me, is a painful one.

Simon Kernick is a well known writer, and the book you are talking about is the one that really, really launched his career and popularity. Fine, I can understand that its not for everyone, but I think that to claim one's own opinion to be factual is quite foolish. The book is not a dud.

I personally do not like Harlen Coben, but I wouldn't say his books ARE a dud. Why? Because I know that clearly they aren't to a lot of other people.
