Sole | 2 comments Please I really need your help to find a book.
I’m looking for a book I’ve read max 5 years ago and is an arranged marriage between the future husband (I remember his name starts with letter D) and the father of the female main character. The contract was about the male main character to merry the girl and after he would have heritage the company of the father.
He date this girl and then propose, she is super happy because she thinks her love story is true. They get merrier and she is one of those person wearing a lot of colors and a bit naive while he is the typical business man always super serious.
She finds out that he lied to her and that her marriage is fake and she tries to be less the person she usually is and start dressing up more serious, talk less, do less jokes and so on until she tells him and her father that she knows about the contract.
They broke up but then he understands that he really loves her and grovels to have her back.
Obviously there is the happy ending!!
I remember it was not a standalone but it was a series of 4 books following the love journey of 4 friends.

I'm afraid that doesn't make this group the correct place to ask. We are volunteers who do the book cataloging.

That group has strict rules for how you make requests. I suggest you check that you have followed them. Otherwise you will just have to be patient. :)

Closing this thread as the Librarians Group is not the place for these questions. Good luck, Sol, and thanks Scott and Carol!
