I am wondering if these books count as a series. They have the same author and they do have at least one character that is in two out of the three book. Two are books and one is a sort story that is in the song of Achilles book. These books are Circe and The Song of Achilles, this is the short story Heracles' Bow. The timelines overlap a bit but Circe is technically both a prequel and a sequel to the song of Achilles. And heracules bow most likely takes place in the middle.
