should i read shadow and bone or can i start with six of crows??

i’ve heard so many mixed reviews about the shadow and bone trilogy and i have the six of crows and crooked kingdom and im excited to read it but should i read shadow of bone first?? or it is okay to skip?

i highly recommend that you read the shadow and bone trilogy first because it really explains the world building and provides some context behind soc but it’s fine if you read the six of crows duology first :)

personally I haven't read shadow and bone but i have read six of crows, so for me it doesn't really matter because they have separate stories even though six of crows is set after shadow and bone

Six of Crows is way better than Shadow and Bone - I would read it first.

I haven't read any of those series yet, but I heard many people say that you should just read Six of Crows first and then Shadow and Bones if you want to, bc it isn't that good
Also, I don't think the world building is that complicated, if there's something you don't understand you can just look it up on the internet:)
