Inheritance (The Lost Bride Trilogy #1) - November 21, 2023
Oh my god, this sounds PERFECT. Like everything I want in a book - a long lost relative, a Victorian Manor House, paranormality & romance… and Nora’s paranormal romances are my favourites! I’m so excited!
Adding this trilogy to my list of must-reads! November is so far away but it will be worth the wait I am sure. I love Nora's books and JD Robb.
There is a GR giveaway for The Inheritance! To sign up, you have to follow Nora on her Author's page, and you'll be asked to fill out the short entry form. Check it out here.
Good luck!
Good luck!
That is really strange that they have this GR giveaway ending June 19 when the book doesn't even get published until November.
Good news! St. Martin’s Press has agreed to do another sweepstakes. More info to come when it’s ready to launch on October 30.
I just finished this book and listened to the audio. It is so good. Nora pulled me in from the first page and held me until the end. Now I can't wait for the next book in the series.
Woke up to mine on my Kindle this morning. Unfortunately, I can't dive in this week due to prepping for Thanksgiving. We open our home to soldiers from a nearby base that can't go home for the holiday every year. So no spoilers please. ;)
This is not a spoiler zone. Im working on discussion questions that I’ll post in another group we use for book discussions. All are welcome to join in there or wait until this becomes a spoiler zone for general discussions.
I’ll provide more info later about the more detailed book discussion once I have it set up. In the meantime, here’s the link to the group for you to check it out.

I wish there were a way to draw a family tree on this discussion. I got a little lost in the generations. I can't wait to discuss this one.

Been waiting to have a day with no one but the dog in the house to settle in with the book. Tomorrow is that day!
Discussion questions are now posted! Also, I’ve finished the character list for reference, organizing all the lost brides, their spouses and the key present day characters. In the Spoiler Info section is a list with dates of the lost brides.

I was going to wait for the library copy but my son gave me an Amazon gift card for my birthday and this was the first thing I bought! Can't wait to start it!
I know a lot of us are reading this series as the books get published, but I kinda wish we had waited to read them one a month after they are all published.

Graphic designer Sonya MacTavish is stunned to learn that her late father had a twin he never knew about—and that her newly discovered uncle, Collin Poole, has left her almost everything he owned, including a majestic Victorian house on the Maine coast, which the will stipulates she must live in it for at least three years. Her engagement recently broken, she sets off to find out why the boys were separated at birth—and why it was all kept secret until a genealogy website brought it to light.
Trey, the young lawyer who greets her at the sprawling clifftop manor, notes Sonya’s unease—and acknowledges that yes, the place is haunted…but just a little. Sure enough, Sonya finds objects moved and music playing out of nowhere. She sees a painting by her father inexplicably hanging in her deceased uncle’s office, and a portrait of a woman named Astrid, whom the lawyer refers to as “the first lost bride.” It’s becoming clear that Sonya has inherited far more than a house. She has inherited a centuries-old curse, and a puzzle to be solved if there is any hope of breaking it…
