[answered] Is a three-quarter / 3D view of a book acceptable for cover image?

A GR user asked to update an incorrect book cover image (original thread) and linked to a three-quarter view of the physical book. A flat cover is available on the Amazon listing but it's not the exact same cover (different colors and slightly different text).

Is it okay to proceed with the three-quarter view of the book for the cover image? I didn't see anything in the Librarians Manual.

A 3D image is acceptable if there is no 2D image of the *exact same* cover available.
