Alle | 5 comments Hello, Superibrarians -
for some reason, the book description of the above novel does not appear on the novel's page. How can Upload it? Or should I send you Word doc?

Thanks for your time.
Alle

I tired to pos here. It's frozen by the moderator. Can you substitute out the below for the current write-up:

Alle C. Hall’s fiction debut, As Far as You Can Go Before You Have to Come Back won five prizes before publishing. Praised by Jamie Ford (Hotel on the Corner of Biter & Sweet) Hall’s novel is a “girl and her-backpack” story with a #MeToo influence: Carlie is not merely traveling. A child sexual trauma survivor, as a teen she steals ten thousand dollars and runs away to Asia. There, the Lonely Planet path of hookups, heat, alcohol and drugs takes on a terrifying reality. Landing in Tokyo in in the late 1980s, Carlie falls in with an international crew of tai chi-practicing backpackers. With their help, Carlie has the chance at a second journey: one to find the self-respect ripped from her as a child and the healthy sexuality she desires.

Prizes:
• First Place, 2022 International Firebird Book Awards: Literary;
• First Place 2022 International Firebird Book Awards: Coming of Age;
• Second Place, 2022 International Firebird Book Awards: Women’s Issues;
• First Place, 2022 National League of American Pen Women’s Mary Kennedy Eastham Flash Fiction Prize; and
• First Finalist; The 2022 The Lascaux Prize.

The post Emily linked to is an announcement outlining what sort of posts should go in this Help me, Superlibrarian folder.

Changing or adding a book description is definitely not one of those. Book Issues is the folder you want: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/group...

Emily | 17501 comments I've updated it, but we don't put praise and reviews in descriptions. I've added it without the first sentences.

Alle | 5 comments Thanks very much Emily. I appreciate your time.

Do NOT call out users in the forum. If you believe there is a problem with reviews, contact support. Librarians can't do anything about it.

message 10: by Alle (new) - rated it 5 stars

Alle | 5 comments I can't find "support." A little help?

Please click on 'edit' near the topic title of your original post and move your post to the Book Issues folder.

Removed the above post as mentions another member's name, which goes against group rules. Closing thread.
