Lauren | 2157 comments Dozens editions of "Ten Years Later" are incorrectly included in "The Vicomte de Bragelonne". The confusion comes because the Three Musketeers stories were serialized, and so publishers do not always group the serialized chapters into the same volume: many editions of "The Vicomte de Bragelonne" also include "Ten Years Later," but the books are not the same. To my knowledge, there are no editions of "Ten Years Later" that include the entirety of "The Vicomte de Bragelonne."

They need to be extracted and added to the existing record for "Ten Years Later" found here: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...

Rather than listing them out here, they can all be found by visiting the edition page for "The Vicomte de Bragelonne" and sorting by title (they are pages 22-35 of the results): https://www.goodreads.com/work/editio...

Thank you!

(If you're interested, this is part of a larger cleanup of the series here: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...)

Lauren | 2157 comments Can anyone help with this?

Scott | 8628 comments Works with so many editions tend to time out for librarians working from their home computers. This sort of thing is best sent to support.

Thank you. I assume you mean to just go through the "contact us" form (https://www.goodreads.com/about/conta...)?

I didn't realize it was an option. Do you know if Goodreads has a guide for what sorts of requests should be asked in the forum vs sent through support?

They do not. For future reference, when contacting Support it is good to mention you are a librarian, so that they do not direct you back to the group for your request. You can just use your best judgment as to when to contact them. Yes, the contact us form is how to get in touch with them.

Thank you. I'm not a librarian so I'll just continue to post requests here first. For this request, I included a link to this thread in my message to support, which hopefully will be enough.

Emily | 17481 comments Oh whoops! Yes linking the thread is very smart.

The page might time out, but the separation usually goes through without issues.

Maybe, but it's harder to tell than ever with the new "improved" book page.

Lauren | 2157 comments For the record, this is support's response:
Thanks for writing in and making us aware of this! I attempted to separate the large amount of books however the site would not allow the separation to be done successfully.

I have informed our developers of this and I've created a trouble ticket. As soon as I receive an update, I will be sure to let you know.

Lauren | 2157 comments Support has completed this.
