Lauren | 2157 comments The Penguin (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/5...) and Oxford (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/6...) editions of “The Man in the Iron Mask” are not the same (note that I am only linking a single edition of each, but this applies to all versions from these publishers). The Oxford edition includes almost 200 pages of additional material (their edition covers chapters 179-267 of "Le Vicomte de Bragelonne), likely because they translated the entirety of “Le Vicomte de Bragelonne” while Penguin only translated the final installment (Penguin's edition covers only chapters 208-267 of "Le Vicomte de Bragelonne").

Please separate them.

As to the other non-Oxford, non-Penguin editions, it seems like most of them tend to align with the Penguin edition (Collins Classics, Signet Classics, AmazonClassics), which also coincides with what seems to be the sole pubic domain English translation that's available. However, at least one edition (Barnes & Noble Classics) aligns with the Oxford edition.

Therefore, please separate the Oxford and Barnes & Noble Classics editions and from the rest and combine them with one another.

Oxford and Barnes & Noble Classics editions:
- https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/8... (cover on this one is incorrect, from the wrong publisher)
- https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/5... (publisher name is missing ampersand)

(If you're interested, this is part of a larger cleanup of the series here: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...)

Saturn (xsaturn) | 648 comments I've separated the oxford editions. Please, check.

Note that I separated the ones with the oxford edition cover, because it was the only way to get the job done. But I will fix any mistakes.

Saturn (xsaturn) | 648 comments I'm trying to sort out these editions that I've separated.

This one:
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/8...

matches with this one:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/MAN-IRON-MAS...

but I don't know if it should be combined with the Oxford editions

Thank you for your help with this!

I assume you mean the ASIN matches (I can't see ASINs since I'm not a librarian). If so, then it should probably stay with the Penguin editions since that is to be the most common version—the only way to know for sure would be to buy the book and check out the table of contents, which I don't think anyone is going to do lol. The cover should probably be corrected, as well.
