I started this today.

I was looking up the real case this story is based on, that of Harriet Staunton, and found this TV show on it, it's still available on BBC Iplayer for those with access to it here https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m000...

Yes, I think so. Those brothers come across as greedy and callous, and I'm only a few chapters in.

This is certainly compelling. I it gives off a sense of dread the closer we get to the end. I love the imagery of Lewis, Patrick, Elizabeth and Alice gathered around her like a bunch of carrion crows.
