I went ahead and set up the next thread for everyone for book #5 in the HP series (Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix). Here is the thread link for you all:

Thanks, everyone - this is my first time reading the books so it has been quite enjoyable! I know the story from the movies of course, but it's great to know all the stuff they left out to expand it a bit. :) Bring on the Order of the Phoenix!!
For me, the gap between the books and the movies was largest for Order of the Phoenix, with the book being far superior to the movie.
I am back to reading this story. It is interesting how the movie doesn't reflect some things that happen in the book. I don't remember in the movie about (view spoiler).
I am just now to the part where the dark mark has been seen at the world cup. I can see things playing out like I am watching the movie. It makes me actually want to pull out my movies and watch them. :)

I am reading this book slow - just passed the point where the Weasley boys tried to cross the age line and got cooked with old age. lol

Rita Skeeter drives me batty! LOL

Yeah me too! I entered a bunch of challenges over in HA and need to read about 30+ books before the end of the year besides whatever else I need to dip into this year. lol I think I overstretched it! lol

Done! I am so proud to say Mama Weasley reminds me so much of my mom at the end of this book. And I love both those strong beautiful women with all my heart.

Finished this one as well yesterday. Loved it! Lots of nail-biting action in this one and just seemed more thrilling then the movie. :)
I liked your review Marie. Can't wait to hear your Dolores Umbridge rants over in the Phoenix thread :D

Oh yeah - I will be lighting that thread up with some rants! lol Just you wait - it is coming! lol I am sure there were tons more details in the book then in the movie! I will probably be wishing I could jump in the story and light her up myself! LOL
