Confirmed MPG
Can you please confirm Evvie Drake Starts Over for Sports? It's one of the last MPG's for this book.

Hi, could I get this one confirmed for Sports, please? Rowing to Latitude: Journeys Along the Arctic's Edge

Coralie wrote: "Will an elephant tusk
work for teeth?"Generally, I'd say yes but this was really hard to see. I'd prefer something more obvious on the cover, Coralie. This was more a silhouette blended into the yellow background

I'd like something more obvious than this too but I'm finding this task even harder than your last one.
oh really? the cover task?See if any books in these lists appeal (just check the book though as not all qualify)

Thank you. that did help. I always have trouble with cover tasks, partly because I rely heavily on library books and partly because I just don't seem to read the sort of books that suit cover tasks.
When I got a chance to create a task for this season, I deliberately avoided cover tasks, because they are sometimes a pain to adjudicate!

is there enough of the bare foot showing on this cover?(enlarged) image https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.c...

Tien wrote: "♞ Pat wrote: "is there enough of the bare foot showing on this cover?"yep, I can see toes! all good"
Thanks, Tien!
Can you see the bare foot in this one? It is difficult via the new GR page, but when I copied & pasted to a word document so I could enlarge the cover photo, I could see a bare foot on the woman in the left chair.
Brooke wrote: "Thanks, Tien!! (I must need new glasses. LOL)"Me too Brooke. I couldn't see the teeth on any of the pictures above, except for Mr Rogers and the Sea Women.
On option 3, want to confirm that plurals are NOT included. So it has to be boot or shoes, not boots or shoes. Yes?
Literal translations will work for option 3 right?Coat = jas
So I would like to read: Het meisje in de rode jas
For Option 3, does the word in the title have to be using the clothing meaning? For example, I see "top" and "train" on the list. So would The Tale of Hill Top Farm or The Last Train to London work even though they aren't referring to a top like a shirt or a train like on a bridal dress?
Chris wrote: "On option 3, want to confirm that plurals are NOT included. So it has to be boot or shoes, not boots or shoes. Yes?"It's however the word is found on the list.
So yes, it has to be boot or shoe, NOT boots or shoes

according to the SRC rules, yes, this is ok

yes, that's fine too.
As the image is not quite so clear on GR, please can you confirm if this will count for barefeet - the book is about a barefoot runner & the photo shows her running in her bare feet (the black round her ankles is the bottom of her leggings & she has a flower/swirly tattoo on the top of her right foot)The image here on GR is not so clear but my paperback clearly shows toes - it feels like the perfect book for option 1!
