The servant carries a weird box that can changed its shape from a small box to a large wardrobe thing it also carries food and weapons. They drop it in like a swamp either on purpose or accident and the woman is irked about it.After they complete the mission can't remember the plot sorry. He goes and lives with her but he gets restless because all he does is sit around her massive home doing nothing. He leaves her and goes back to earth and the butler or servant says if he ever want to get a drink he knows where he is at. Also the soldier/warrior guy mentions he has a great sense of direction and he never gets lost. There is a part where he is laying in a hut i think during a war. The cover of the book is black but there are three figures a man a woman and another man. I also want to say there is a slight bit of red somewhere on the cover. I read the book in like 1999 or 2000 maybe even 2001. I'm not sure what age it was for.

sweet thanks I have been looking for this book off an on for a good while now. Not sure how you found the name of it because i was getting now where with the stuff I remembered about the book.
