I read this book in the mid 90s. I remember that a male assassin sees a neighour (I think) kill her dates and dispose of the bodies. She does this as she doesn't like to let them down/say no to a second date. He asks to date her knowing the risk of her trying to kill him to avoid confrontation. Thsy's what I remember. Any help appreciated. Thanks.
