Sean Auraist | 1 comments I looked through the Hugo finalists for best novel to see which, if any, I could recommend for the quality of prose, and unfortunately there were none. Spear and Goliath, both nominated for the Locus Awards, were far more stylishly written.

Just a note for any fellow speculative prose snobs out there. ;-)
