Ellie and Brandon are so good together. I don't love that we're halfway into the book and she's still got her mind made up to marry George if the man ever proposes. But after that scene at the inn, hopefully Brandon is on his way to swaying Ellie to his side.

I like how Brandon is trying to slowly win over Ellie. She has a LOT of fears, more than most people. I'm glad she's finally seeing that George isn't as wonderful as she believed. Also, I have a feeling he's the Lord F who ruined Prue.

It took so much longer for Ellie to finally be done with George than it should have. She should have walked away from him so much sooner than she did. I am glad that Brandon inspired her to conquer her fears. And the running next to the carriage thing was sweet. Overall I did enjoy this but I would have liked it more if the whole George thing had been dealt with sooner.

This is good so far. I'm curious to see how the arrangement between Prue and Savage works out. So far I'm really enjoying their interactions although I hope it can be cleared up soon that he thinks she may be with him to baby trap him.

I like that Savage and Prue are becoming friends of a sort. The whole stealing her inheritance back thing is fun. I'm interested to see how more of that goes. And wow did George really do nothing right with Prue, she didn't even know what an orgasm was.

And now the thing with George makes more sense, she was still a virgin. I do like that Savage immediately went to we'll just have to marry and didn't seem upset about it. And he really should have told Prue about paying Lady Sutton's bills, she's going to be upset about that.

Did not love how they all conspired to trick Prue into thinking Savage was cheating on her. I'm glad that got resolved but man did those two hurt each other. Thankfully it all worked out in the end, and I like that he bought her a puppy. That was cute. Overall I enjoyed this one. Not sure how I feel about the ending there where Meg obviously is pregnant but we'll see how her book goes.

Ok I'm not sure I'm going to like this one. I don't like secret child/baby books and I know that's what this one is. Also not a big fan that Lucien thinks Meg is this grand thief, it's so obvious that it's not her.

Ok so I get why Meg is pretending to be Lady Avalon since she wants one grand adventure before going home but I feel like it's so damn obvious that she's not Lady Avalon that I don't get why Lucien doesn't see it. And how did that book end up in Meg's trunk? She didn't steal it so who planted it there?

I'm not really liking this one. Lucien is being a moron and refusing to see what's right in front of him. Plus I hate secret baby romances and that's what this turned into (I had a feeling it might after the ending of the last book).

Yeah, this one wasn't for me. I just couldn't get past Lucien being such an idiot. And he started saying he never really suspected Meg which is a damn lie. Not surprised the sister was the thief though. Overall this was definitely my least favorite in the series.
