Chapter 1-6: (view spoiler)[I am already intrigued by the plot of the book and I absolutely loved the fact that Winnifred decided to elope after all , what kind of a man makes a blunder with accidentally sending his future wife a gift intended for his mistress and on their wedding day too! It seems like her mom has good intentions but is going about it in the wrong way to say the least. This forced proximity between Winnifred and Asher is bound to result in entertaining scenarios (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 7-11: (view spoiler)[Winn and Asher traveling together to her aunt's estate is forcing them to spend a lot of time together and I am loving their interactions honestly. Winn's dad sounds scary and I am afraid what he'd do if he happens to find them together now that he knows Asher was with Winn in the carriage. The attraction is strong but neither of them have acted upon it yet so I am curious about how and when their first kiss would take place (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 12-17: (view spoiler)[This is getting better with every chapter ngl. Winn and Asher's time at the farm was so endearing, I could see them living a modest life in the future. I don't know how Winn would react when she finds out the bargain between her dad and Asher, she'd be heartbroken mostly. I am eager to see how Asher gets himself out of the bind he has gotten himself into especially now that feelings are involved (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 18-26: (view spoiler)[Poor Winn, my heart breaks for her. Asher really shouldn't have sent a missive to her father to meet them at the aunt's estate and Winn might have been happy still. It also bothered me that Asher could not bring himself to confess to Winn but somehow got the time to sleep with her. No wonder she agreed to marry Woodbine, her trust in men is shattered completely (hide spoiler)]

Finished: (view spoiler)[This was such a heartwarming end to Winn and Asher's story. The pirate turning up with a lost treasure right when Asher needed it the most was although too good to be true and a bit on the fantastical side, I wholeheartedly loved what came after. Asher's proposal was the stuff of the dreams, it brought tears of joy to my eyes (i may simply be too into my emotions atm lol) and I am excited for the next book in the series (hide spoiler)]

Oh man, I did not expect that Holt made a deal with her father. That is going to cause problems between them when she finds out. She already has sever trust and self esteem issues. She'll think everything between them is a lie. And can I say, their string of bad luck is just getting to be ridiculous? No one is that unlucky.

I love that he wrote her chapters of the book to try and win her back, that's so sweet. I do wish she had given him more of a chance to explain rather than ignoring him but I'm glad they worked everything out. I enjoyed this one as Winn and Holt were cute together.

Lots of drama there for a bit, I'm glad that was cleared up. I love that Raven set up all the Christmas decorations with Jane's siblings for her. That was a sweet moment. I do wish we had gotten an epilogue but overall I really liked this one. I'm looking forward to reading the next book soon.
