Vinh was just as scared as Hannah. He valued her friendship and wasn't about to take a chance on losing that if his deeper feelings weren't reciprocated. Angelina was a force of nature. She swept Vinh off his feet and he had no idea what hit him. I believe he loved her deeply, but I don't think it would have lasted forever. Her true character would eventually show through.
Yes, Vinh's feelings for Hannah were stronger and deeper. He would never have married Angelina if she hadn't come on so strong or manipulated him. I agree that if Angelina hadn't been killed, Vinh would have eventually come to realize that his love for her was based on a lie and they would have gotten divorced.
Same here. She was a force of nature but Hannah was the love of his heart and mind. Angelina probably would have moved on at some point, especially after Vinh discovered her true nature.
