mady | 71 comments the like “1 book behind” thing stresses me out ahahha

*ੈ✩‧₊˚Sophia hmm no mine was 50 and I don't stress cause I read manga and graphic novels as well as books so the balance keeps me out of a slump and makes me excited to read I'm kinda a slow reader but I don't rush and make time for me to read! I also have a goal but I don't feel pressure to finish my goal cause I think the facts that I'm reading is amazing in itself so i don't get mad if i don't finish my goal <3

so dont stress just enjoy it !

Jamie♡ | 68 comments Literally it’s not just you. I started my reading goal as 50 this year but lowered it to 20 cuz I felt like I wasn’t reading enough lmao.

and your doing so good !

message 9: by Chelsea (new)

Chelsea Skinner (chelspels) | 16 comments I have mine at 100 because I always overestimate and forget I don't read as much around the holidays.

Plus, my job fluctuates how busy it is so I don't always get to read when I want.

Overall, I feel like having a set goal helps, but I do get stressed out at the end if I am behind.

Alina | 4 comments I usually choose a reading goal that is way lower/I’m confident in achieving. I noticed that if I do set it up higher it does stress me out, and also puts me into a reading slump. I suggest not to stress yourself out and just lower it to the number that is comfortable for you <33

message 11: by Soma (new)

Soma | 90 comments last year I set it at 300 books and it did stress me out, even though I completed it ! But this year I set it at 150.

message 12: by Frida (new)

Frida | 5 comments I set 50, and I‘m not sure if it‘s too much! Sometimes I read three books a week, but this year I didn‘t read yet that much as I thought about me so yes I‘m a bit under pressure !

message 13: by nat (new)

nat | 2 comments i’m not sure what to do for my goals..

message 14: by sadeea♡ (new)

sadeea♡ I feel like reading goals motivate me to read and gives me something to look forward to once I finish a book. It's more fun this way.

Paperbackstoriess I have set it as 50 since last year I read around 52 books..
