I watched the first episode, I liked it. it's nice. I am sick of the shy guy who makes friends with the quirky popular girl trope, but yeah, I'll finish season 1.
oh, one thing I did love was how the signs are stylized they are just really pretty and visually appealing to me.
.. like how it's animated. idk, I just thought that was unique and interesting
I watched the first 4 episodes a while ago and while it was good I won't be continuing. I had 2 panic attacks while watching this. if anyone has social anxiety like me don't watch this anime. social anxiety is a heavy theme throughout. <3
I’ve finished watching season 1 but I can vaguely remember my thoughts on it. Yamai was annoying, I liked najimi. Tadano reminds me of one of my friends, really perceptive, patient and can read people so well it’s reassuring if you’re unable to speak things out. Especially if you’re often misunderstood because you’re not very expressive and talkative. It was a bit irritating how the people around komi make so many assumptions of what they think she is like just because they idolise her. Even if it’s not so negative (probably the point of misconceptions) they don’t assume someone like her would have any struggles. We probably do this without realising like overlooking and creating idolised versions of celebrities, artists or anyone you know that seems put together. Or be like tadano and make an effort to understand people

This follows Shoko Komi, who is extremely shy, and Hitohito Tadano, a wallflower, as Komi works towards finding 100 friends! This is based off of the manga, which we read in December 2022.
So far, there are two seasons with 12 episodes each.
