As noted, I just read "Portrait Od An Unknown Woman" by Daniel Silva and really enjoyed it. The quality of the writing, the plot line, the art elements and also the expertise in the spy aspects were all excellent.
I had not, until the past few days, realized that this is the 22nd book of the Gabriel Allon series by Mr. Silva.
My question now is, are the previous books all purely spy novels? Do they include any aspects of the art world that I found so interesting in the book I just finished?
Do you soundly recommend the entire series if I enjoyed :Portrait Of An Unknown Woman"? Any thoughts on this from readers familiar with Mr. Silva's work would be immensely appreciated. Thank you in advance.
