I want to manually add my own book to goodreads, but the option isn't available anywhere on the site despite guides showing me that there should be one at the top right corner of the page above "import books".
How do I resolve this?

Changes to Goodreads mean that only Librarians, Goodreads Authors & Staff can add books.

Please go to the Adding New Books & Editions folder to make your request.

Be aware there is a significant backlog for books being added now.

Edit; Once you have your book added you can apply to be a Goodreads Author. Then you will be able to add your own books.
