Reading Challenge Information (2023)

Hey girls!


This is your games and challenges mod here, just wanted to announce that we'll be starting a new challenge at some point in February that will continue for the rest of the year!

The idea is, we will have some general prompts for everyone each month, and then each month will also have specific prompts, such as February will be LGBTQ+ related prompts as the special prompts because February is LGBTQ+ history month!

We plan to add more special prompt challenges each month on top of the general prompts that will be available for you to receive points for all year.

The goal is, a friendly competition between all our members involving points gained for reading books that meet certain prompts. Complete as many prompts as you can, and receive points for all your hard work!

The member with the most points at the end of each month, as well as the most points at the end of the year will each receive a free e-book of their choice, like what we've done in some of our past challenges.

The general prompts will be announced soon, so if you want to participate get ready! New topics about the challenge will be added shortly and we'd love if you all let us know if this sounds like something you'd be interested in participating in!

hello , i've read my first Book of february , it was maybe this Time by kasie west, i complete the prompts : Book IS more than 300 pages (10 pts), author has written more than five other Books (10pts) , cover displays a human (10 pts) , the author has a met (10 pts) (she has a spider by the way )':) , book IS a romance genre (20pts) , has a l,g,b,t or q on the title (20 pts) so in total i completed 80 pts with this Book ( :

That's great you've finished your first book for this challenge! There is actually a topic where you can say what you've completed so far, and you can find that here. Once we have a few more people post that they've read some books we will start up the leaderboard.

We decided that we're doing just one special topic per month and one of our mods had already suggested LGBTQ+ history so that's why we're doing this. But feel free to read whatever books you want, this challenge isn't supposed to try and dictate that in any way, it's simply a fun side thing that you can participate in if you feel like it.
