Daniel | 4 comments The edition https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/9... exists since many years. A week ago, ISBN, ISBN13 and ASIN have been deleted, and a new edition https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/8... have been created with the same ISBN, ISBN13 and ASIN. Is it possible to merge them (or to delete the new edition) ? Thank you.

lethe | 16359 comments It looks like the cover of the existing edition has lettering in yellow, while the newly added one has lettering in gold. In any case, the librarian who added the alternative cover edition thought the covers were different enough to warrant an extra record.

Daniel | 4 comments Thank you for your answer. I understood that there was a different cover. I'm just surprised because I had registered my book in the right edition, with the right ISBN - like 862 other people - and my account now points to an edition without an ISBN. The edition with the right ISBN, which had 863 accounts before this change, now has only 2. I find this strange, but it doesn't matter, I'll just change the edition. Fortunately, this doesn't happen often!

lethe | 16359 comments In case of an alternative cover it is GR policy to move the ISBNs to the later edition, and the librarian did fill in a later pub date (in the same year).

Is the lettering on your edition gold, or yellow?

Daniel | 4 comments In my edition, letters are gold. My edition is edition #54501, printing #24601, legal registration in June 2004, printed in June 2004, purchased by me during summer 2004.
