Cannot edit series on my own books

Hi there,

One of my older books that was once a stand-alone is now expanding to a series. I've gone into editing book details as directed, but when I click on Add a new series, the site just boots me back to my homepage. I'm not certain why, since they are my own books (by A.C. Dillon)!

Can someone help me figure out what's going wrong? The series should be called Autumn Brody with these two books

book one - Change of Season
book two - Waiting For a Star to Fall

I don't know what's wrong (unless authors just can't perform that function) but I made the series for you.

Authors cannot edit series. Librarians need to do that.

Rivka, that seems a little odd. If I'm the author, I surely know my own series. I could understand restricting it to one's own works. Is there a reason for it?

I believe the reason is primarily technical, and has to do with how series work here, rather than a deliberate decision to prevent author access.
