Hi
My first novel, is just published
Two Watches by Rob Slattery
Available here Two Watches
Its a story about relationships - following the relationship of Will and his father from his childhood to the present day. When his father dies, Will learns more about his fathers life, including some unknown relationships forged in Lithuania in 1991 against the backdrop of the end of the USSR, which make him take a closer look at his own life and the relationship he had with his father.
I would love to get your feedback
Thanks, Rob.

Tina Fumo-Martin | 4 comments have I got a book for you. I wrote my memoir based on the injustice of CPS taking our 2 week old (grand)baby. We went through hell dealing with them and, in the end, won custody of the child back into our family. Check it out.

Helene Cardona (helenecardona) | 5 comments Hi,

I have a new book that just came out: The Abduction, my translation of Maram Sl-Masri's Le Rapt.
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...
It won an Albertine and FACE Foundation Grant from Villa Albertine for excellence in translation and publishing.
The Abduction refers to an autobiographical event in Maram Al-Masri's life. When, as a young Arab woman living in France, she decides to separate from her husband with whom she has a child, the father kidnaps the baby and returns to Syria. Al-Masri won't see her son for thirteen years. This is the story of a woman denied the basic right to raise her child.
These are haunting, spellbinding poems of love, despair, and hope, a delicate, profound and powerful book on intimacy, a mother's rights, war, exile, and freedom. Maram Al-Masri embodies the voice of all parents, who one day, for whatever the reason, have been forcibly separated from their loved ones.
She writes about the status of women, seeking to reconcile her role as a mother with her writing work. The terrible war that has devastated her native country since 2011 has painfully affected her. The Guardian described her as "a love poet whose verse spares no truth of love's joys and mercilessness."

I would love a review and can send you a copy of the book.

Thank you!
Helene Cardona

The writing is very descriptive, the hooks very bold and is told in a way that places the reader in the time and place. Paul Rushworth-Brown | 12 comments Paul was educated at Charles Sturt University in New South Wales, Australia and became a writer in 2015 after his self-published novel 'Skulduggery' was picked up by Shawline Publishing. Paul's novels are authentic and gritty, with twists and turns the reader won't see coming. He paints a realistic image of how peasants would have lived in the 16th and 17th centuries. However, that is only the backdrop to suspenseful and mysterious stories with romantic tones. His novel 'Red Winter Journey' has been nominated for the NSW Premier's Literary Awards (Christina Stead Prize for fiction). His new novel 'Dream of Courage' was long-listed for the Historical Fiction Company's 2022 Book of the Year Award and will be released in November 2023. Raymond Jr. | 13 comments Hi there! It's wonderful to hear that you're interested in reviewing my book, A Grey Beginning, on your blog. I truly appreciate your support and enthusiasm for sharing my work with your readers.

As an author with a unique personal journey, I believe my story might resonate with many people, especially those who have faced challenges and overcome obstacles. My struggles with reading comprehension and a learning disability have shaped my perspective and inspired me to create a dark fantasy world that highlights the power of determination and the human spirit.

I'd be more than happy to send you a physical copy of my book for review. Please feel free to send me a private message with your mailing address, and I'll make sure to get a copy to you as soon as possible. I'm looking forward to reading your thoughts on A Grey Beginning and engaging with your blog's community.

Thank you once again for your interest, and I hope you enjoy the journey into the world I've created. Happy reading!

Hello,

I am a retired police officer and just self published a non-fiction book on my later years of police patrol service morphing into outreach work trying to help the homeless in San Francisco suffering from addiction and mental illness. I provide insight into these three issues from an insider perspective with stories of cases and some of my experiences. I hope to educate people as to the realities of homelessness and create a call to action.

If you have time and like to read non fiction I would like to send you a copy of my book for review.

If you would like more information or an email I would be happy to provide that for you.

Thank you!
