I'm not sure where to ask this question so I thought that I'd just post here since you are so kind as to answer questions.

Should a paperback book have an ASIN? I thought that was for Kindle books. Maybe this book was entered into the system incorrectly?

David Raz (davidraz) | 13076 comments Yes, physical books now have ASIN. That's a relatively recent policy change.

However, it seems like a bot run on Dec 19, 2022 has added many books with ASIN only that need to be merged back. In this case ASIN only and ISBN should be merged. Sadly, one needs to contact support for each and every one of these. I suspect there may be many thousands of them.
