Jill Westwood | 6 comments Hello,
My series titled Nasty Woman is now titled Foster's Creek. The series name was updated on all the vendors. Am I able to update it on Goodreads or do I need a librarian to do it? There are three books in this series:
Homewrecker
Control Freak
Drama Queen
Thanks,
Jill Westwood

Michele | 6354 comments Hm, this is a good question. Normally GR convention is to use title, series, author, etc. as they appear on a book's cover. All of these covers say "Nasty Woman." Perhaps a more experienced librarian can weigh in on whether this would be acceptable.

Will you be doing different covers for the books?

annob [on hiatus] (annob) | 4048 comments Good catch, Michele. Yes, the older editions with the former series name must continue to have the old name on the title lines of those editions.

New covers (ACE editions) can be added, having the new series name on the edition title line.

On the series page itself, we add a comment into the description, "Formerly known as the Nasty Woman series." Then we change the Series Page Title to the new series name.

Here's an example series page. If you look at All Editions of book #0.5 you can see how the series name varies for different editions: https://www.goodreads.com/series/2643...

Michele | 6354 comments Thanks, annob! I've changed the series title and added the note in the description: https://www.goodreads.com/series/3306...

Jill, please note that it may take a day or so for the individual book pages to display the new series name above the titles.

Jill Westwood | 6 comments Hi Michele,
I do have updated covers for these books. They're exactly the same as the old ones, but my designer just took the series title off of them. Do you want me to send the updated covers to you?
Thanks!
Jill

Michele | 6354 comments If you can give me links to the updated covers I can create ACEs (alternate cover editions) for them.

Bri Lind PA Hello. On the books by Ali Lucia Sky (Raiden and Trace), could you please add Bri Lind as the editor and Marcos Nogueira as the illustrator? This should also apply to her books: The Dream Keepers, Wishcraft and Ethereal Bodies. Thank you.

☕ Lachgas ♿ (lachgas) | 9386 comments do not add requests about a different book on threads that are tied to a book

Also it is common courtesy to include links to the books so we don't have to search for them.

Anyway, we do not include editors on novels.
Nor are the books illustrated.

Michele | 6354 comments And finally: The author of these books has claimed her profile, meaning that she is able to make changes to her books if she so wishes. Perhaps you should contact her directly.
