Sandy | 2 comments Here are some enemies-to-lovers romantic comedies recommendations that fall in the "closed door romance" category, but they are set in current times, as opposed to historical, so I'm not sure if this is your cup of tea. Most of these recs are from book series - and typically each book in the series does one of the tropes (enemies to lovers, best friends to lovers, grumpy v. sunshine, etc. ). I would say they are all light, fun reads.

Kiss Me Now, by Melanie Jacobson (the first in a series)

Falling for your Enemy, by Emma St. Clair (book 6 in a series - you might enjoy it more if you read the whole series but I don't think you have to read them all to enjoy this one)

Love in Bloom, Jenny Proctor (book 4 of a series, again, you might enjoy it more if you read the whole series but I don't think you have to read them all to enjoy this one)

My Own Best Enemy, by Julie Christianson (Book 2 in a series)

That Fine Line, by Cindy Steel (the first in a series)

The Enemy, by Sarah Adams

Two I haven't read yet but were recommended to me because they are similar to the above books are

The Hate Zone, by GiGi Blume and I Hated You First, by Rachel John
