[Resolved] Librarian needing help - adding ASIN not working

Can someone please help me? Am a librarian but can't add the ASIN of a new edition of a book. everytime I try to add it it gives me an error and the ASIN is a different one in the box than the one I had just tried to put in (like it's missing some characters and then tells me that it's incorrect) Not the first time it's happened :/

Ok, but how can I add a new edition of a book if it keeps asking me to add the ASIN but I can't. I try to leave it blank but still the same problem :/ I've added new books before with no issues so am confused

Not sure I understand. Are you saying it won't let you create a new record even if leaving that field blank?

Sorry, found myself confused, yes that was what was happening until I loaded a fresh tab and tried again to add a new edition, all good now, sorry, and thank you :)
