KatieV | 141 comments I've started another list and I'd love your favorite recs. You can add them here or on the list itself:

https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/8...

I'm not too strict as far as which Hqn line the story comes from. It can be a Presents, Desire or Temptation, etc. The only qualification is that either the hero or heroine have amnesia at some point in the story.

Thanks in advance!

ETA: I searched the themes and didn't find an amnesia one. If I missed it, sorry for the duplication.

Verity | 567 comments I'm recycling my post from years ago...

Jacqueline Baird - Husband @ convenience. Luvly hero is half a step too late when H/h meet. The virginal heroine got drunk & insta preggers ensues. Conveniently half bro aka baby daddy expires, so hero steps up to the plate to save the day. But when amnesia hits heroine, he deliberately keeps her in the dark just to soak his flagbearer in her panties. OW throws darts @ wife, so mutual jealousy causes big mis. He thinks she's still not over half-bro, she thinks he's still boning his mistress.

Not all are HPs but fit the theme, some amnesia :

Daphne Clair = Carpenter's mermaid (4* - beware of unconscious cheating tho'. Heroine doesn't realize she's already married).
Susan Napier = Another time = 5* ; Reckless conduct = 4*.
Laurey Bright = A sudden sunlight (3* - heroine was raped & got preggers)
Vanessa Grant = Stray lady (3* - just meh).
Margaret Mayo = Forgotten engagement (2* - awful & passionless)

That's terribly crude and offensive. Why can't I stop laughing :)

Jasbell76 | 21 comments Hi KatieV! That book A Husband Of Convenience is one of the worst books by Jacqueline Baird in my opinion. I couldn't suggest you that book. There is a disgusting bed scene between the heroine, hero's brother and the hero :/ the dialogue in that scene is :S

Don't tell me there's a menage in a HP?! That's unexpected.

Jasbell76 | 21 comments hahahaha NO!!! What happened was that the heroine had sex with the hero's brother thinking he was the hero!! Then the hero arrives and found her in bed and his brother leaving the bathroom, next, when the heroine get out of the bed to run into the bathroom, hero found out he was a virgin. I didn't read what happens next but after she slept with hero's brother, she loses the memory then she thinks/relieves she has been always with the hero :S I HATE that plot! That is book by Jacqueline Baird to AVOID for me ;)

Leona (wdwcbm) | 373 comments Jasbell76. Are talking about the same book? In A Husband of Convenience, the hero's brother is dead.
