Reflection.- Sometimes we need some quiet time just to reflect and remember how far we have come. Self-reflection helps us to move forward and hopefully learn from the things in life we experience. Reflecting allows us time to step away from our daily problems and challenges so that we can think about how we overcome past obstacles. Self-reflection aids not only in self-evaluation but also in spiritual development. -Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life. -Proverbs 4:23 Instead, let us test and examine our ways. Let us turn back to the LORD. -Lamentations 3:40 Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. -Romans 12:2 Examine yourselves to see if your faith is genuine. Test yourselves. Surely you know that Jesus Christ is among you; if not, you have failed the test of genuine faith. -2 Corinthians 13:5
