Dang, I did not realize the appendix had a timeline for events leading up to the book. It really helped put things in perspective--and also solidified the comparison to turn of the millennium Christendom.
I'm still in! I could probably start next weekend, or the one after that... I'd like to avoid the first of the month though--that's got waaay to much going on for the next several months. Middle or end?
Maybe try posting in the BR thread--or just pick a date and post in the main BR thread? We could do the 16th or 17th--same date as last month....

Feb 16th or 17th, or March 16th or 17th?
Since no one has replied in this thread in a while, do we want to go ahead and try for 16th or so next month? I'm still game...

Feeling a bit like the Ryria Chronicles.
Why are the Bloodwoods all working at different games? Seita playing with Tala--and how do her actions bring her country's downfall? Harwood's brother with his betrayal of Gault... feels like the left hand isn't talking to the right hand or the head here...
What happened to the barmaid who disappeared from Purgatory? Did she go to get the angel stone & shield?
What is up with that potion that turned Lawri's eyes green? I feel like there was some mention of glowing green eyes somewhere else before...
Is Jon alive? Probably. We saw her fade to black but not die from someone else's perspective. Something I learned from reading Song of Ice and Fire--if you don't see a body, they're not dead. And possibly not even then.
And what is up with the dragons?
And then all the religious bits, prophecies, five angels... so many questions! But then, I like questions. (hide spoiler)]
