Some things that I have learned so far from this book is that it is easier to blame others but yourself and to never get biten by a yellow spotted lizard. I say this because in the book Stanley talks about this curse which his family claims to have and then blame everything that goes wrong on this curse. He later admits that a lot of things always happen and that they choose to play the curse instead of themselves. Then he talks about a yellow spotted lizard and how if you get bitten by one of them you die, always. So it is best to stay away from those.

I have learned that trying to be a cool super villain would be harder than just commiting crimes. To be a super villain you would need style, intelligence, standards, overdramatic special moves, and a rival. Another I learned from the book is that being broke sucks.

You should always speak about your feelings even if you feel embarrassed, because there will be someone that can help you.

I've learned that some people need to be encouraged in order to finally do what they want. Montag wanted to read books and with the help of Faber, he was given the courage to come up with a plan to have more liberty when it comes to reading books.

Some things that I have learned so far that i am not likely to forget in the near future is that not everything has to do with a "school student" or like "being the nerd"

Takezo and Matachi survived the battle of sekigahara and Takuan changes Takezo name to Miyamoto Musashi.
